Happy Anniversary!!!!

What a morning to wake up to acknowledge my Loved one as it is a big 6Th for a couple of old codgers. Last night we had a cold front come through and it brought much needed rain and some gusty winds. The weather in Fla has been hot and we were welcoming the cooler weather. Well, when I checked out the back cdoor to look out at the lake, I noticed something hanging down. Whats this, says I? Cannot open the door as the item hanging down will not let me open the door. So, I go out the other side door and much to my surprise, the wonderful aluminum gutter has broke away from the eave and if not for my Margaritaville Flag, would have the entire gutter down. Just great. So, after a bloody mary and a bagel, and a dip in the jacuzzi, off I go to get the tin snips and cut the wonderful gutter down. Once this is done, I am informed that a screw f rom the shower door is out and that this needs fixing so that the door shuts properly. Gees, says I, this is sure an unforgettable start to a day that was supposed to be celebratory. So, fixed the door and came back to reality and celebrated. So far, it is about 3:30 PM and nothing yet has fallen off. Oh yeah, had to clean out the gutters in the front of the house as the good old oak leaves are starting their second falling of the year. Tonight, plan on having a good, dry martini and grilling out about 10 pounds of chicken wings and the evening will be a wonderful end to a day that started out like a pain in the ass.
