NASCAR and SPORTS IN GENERAL

April 12, 2008 / by theprofessor

It would sppear that the sports world has gone too comercialized and looks to success as the more money you take in, the better you are.  Good luck with this for the long haul.  I just can not get over the lack of responses or blogs with this new blogster format.  Where are the wits amongst us?  Have you all left and gone to a new blog?  Miss the old days when you could get a laugh and a comment whenever you made some one pissed off.  No more.  What has happened to the innovative people out there?  Someone let us off the hook as this blog is about to go out of use.

I just left a new comment to your post on the subject of baseball...you know, the one comparing and predicting the successes of the Red Sox, Mets, Indians, etc.

Not only did people head over to greasy.com to avoid Blogster problems, but they also found while they were there that they could escape some of the dreaded bloggers here in blogster.  Some Blogsters had experienced offensive and even threatening comments and messages during their time here, maybe once, maybe repeatedly, and found that none of the "troublemakers" were over at greasy.  That also served as an incentive to stay at greasy.

These Blogster friends do still visit Blogster to keep up with some posts made by friends who are not at greasy, but not necessarily all that frequently.  So, yes, you are right...there are not as many people here as before, readership and commenting is down, and there's no sign that "the bunch" have any intention of coming back to Blogster anytime soon.
