tHE SEASON IS SLOWLY SHAPING UP AND GUESS WHAT, THE 88 just may make it tothe top 12 if he stops whinning, opposed to winning. He just does not get it. He has rode the coattails of his late father for too long. He is just another driver, and at his age, it is put up or shut up. I believe that the 24 will surprise everyone this year as. compated to last year, he is not having a very good year. However, heis lurking and willbe in he top 12. Who is going to drop down for this to ha;ppen? Possibly his teammate, not the 88, but the 48. Forgettabout the 42. He has shot his load and will be in the l5 to 20 category. Is the Kasey Kid in the top 12 at this point? Don't know as I have not looked at the latest standings, however,he is another candidate to fall and to fall fast. Sooo, all you diehard 88 fans, keep your fingeres crossed that he does not have a melt down as he no longer has his step mom to harass and, good grief, he may just assail the Ricker before he is done whinning.

So, do you really have a favorite? Is your all-time favorite different than the one you tend to favor now? I find, in NASCAR as in most sports, fans tend to "flock" to whoever's hot at the moment, not necessarily just someone they like or has had an overall good or adequate run, so I'm just curious as to who your personal favorite(s) might be.
Only been following this sport for about 16 years and when Gordon, Jeff,broke in at the same time. Ive been following him for his entire career and really like the young kid Busch and feel that he is the best driver out there ar present.
I can understand liking Jeff Gordon because, as I'm sure I've mentioned before, my brother is a big fan of his. From what I see and hear, though, there is a clear line of like and dislike for him....I don't think I've ever heard anyone say anything that would fall in the "gray area".
I don't follow NASCAR, but I have seen some races and do know some drivers. I am familiar with Busch and he is quite impressive. I still remember the days of admiring the "original" Andretti...I really thought HE was the real thing.
